Job Title: Aircraft Technical Instructor (Weapons) at DSAE Cosford, Wolverhampton, WV7 3EX.

This is an ongoing contract (although this can not be guaranteed), working 37 hours per week for 44.4 weeks per year, paying £23.27 per hour Ltd / £18.52 per hour PAYE.

Client has confirmed they will consider applicants with a strong weapons background and will train up to be trainers.

The successful candidates will be responsible to the Aircraft Training Manager for classroom and practical instruction on a topic within the aircraft discipline and various allied subjects. Ancillary duties include lesson preparation and the production of training support material. Responsibilities comprise the control and supervision of students including the application of Health and Safety and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

Candidates must have served a recognised apprenticeship (or a relevant alternative period of training) and have obtained an ONC, BTEC or NVQ in the Weapons Trade Discipline.

Candidates should have at least 5 years practical experience in their trade.

The successful applicant will have to apply for Scottish Disclosure Certificate and undergo an MOD Security Clearance check.
