Dansoft Aviation Services Ltd is currently seeking an Aircraft Planning Engineer to join our busy West Sussex based team.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Travel as required, be highly computer literate; able to work individually or as part of a team
  • Have the ability to write technical reports and be able to manage multiple projects.
  • All applicants must have a minimum 5 years’ experience of working in an Aircraft Engineering environment
  • At least 2 of which should have been gained in a Technical Services or Airworthiness Management environment.
  • Have a good understanding of EASA and FAA Regulations.
  • The right to work and travel in the UK, EU and worldwide.
  • Have a Passport and a full clean UK Driving Licence.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience in Aircraft Transitions and obtaining Export C of A’s and Importing second hand aircraft into EASA.
  • Experience in Reliability Reporting / Management.
  • Recent experience with Boeing and Airbus Fleets.

The job will entail the performing the following Continuing Airworthiness Management tasks at our West Sussex headquarters and on-site at customer locations:

  • Planning Check’s including End of Lease / Start of Lease / Bridging checks.
  • Loading of Previous Operators data into company systems
  • Review of historical records during Fleet Transitions.
  • Review of Airworthiness Directive Compliance. 
  • Review of Service Bulletin Compliance. 
  • Managing Damage Assessment and Repair Certification and Ensure Damage Reports Updated. 
  • Managing Hard Time and On-Condition Component Replacements. 
  • Managing Approved Aircraft Maintenance Programmes. 
  • Issue and Management of Line and Base Maintenance Work Packs and Task Cards In Accordance With the Approved Maintenance Program. 
  • The Control of Out Of Phase Maintenance Requirements, in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program liaising with customers.
  • Other Areas of Technical Services as required.
