Our client, a leading global Aerospace Engineering and Manufacturing company has a number of exciting opportunities for Aircraft Fitters/ Cleaners and Mechanics to undertake a temporary assignment based in Lincoln.

As a Aircraft Fitter, your key responsibilities will be to:

• Safety first. Operate at Special Mission in accordance with the SHE standards. Identify where the SHE Standards are applicable to appointed operations/tasks and apply safe systems of work identified.
• The quality and completeness of all aircraft work requested to complete.
• Producing accurate and comprehensive documentation for all aircraft work completed. Ensuring that appropriate ‘open entries’ are annotated on the documentation.
• Working efficiently with reference to all approved technical data.
• Bringing to the attention of Supervisor/Manager any discrepancy within the approved technical data or maintenance procedure.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
• Using the tool control system correctly.
• Engineering standards and practices are maintained and that flight safety regulations are properly observed.
• Contribute in a positive manner to the maintenance of a harmonious working relationship with Cobham, Northrop Grumman and RAF manpower allocated to maintenance activities.
• Support technical, safety and other investigations when requested.

Qualifications:

• Engineering background
• Previous experience within an aircraft maintenance organisation.
• Health and Safety awareness. British Safety Council level 1.
