The Avionics AME is responsible for performing maintenance and service on Aircraft Aviation systems. The Avionics AME must ensure all their work meets company standards and regulatory requirements and they are responsible for keeping records or all actions. The Avionics AME is responsible to the Maintenance Manager.

Job Description

* Perform maintenance checks and service on Avionics systems including but not limited to communications, navigation, autopilot, Pitot static, entertainment, radar, AC & DC power distribution and aircraft lighting etc.
* Perform day to day tasks related to Avionics installation, troubleshooting and repair on customer aircrafts and do follow ups on existing services.
* Perform on call and scheduled aircraft maintenance on customer aircrafts.
* Manage various install and service projects as assigned by the supervisor.
* Perform day to day tasks related to maintenance checks, service and overhaul of aircraft batteries.
* Compile work orders, inspection, and repair and overhaul documentation in work records.
* Responsible to track and account for parts issued from stores to assigned job tasks.
* Report unserviceable maintenance equipment and tools.
* Report unsafe or unapproved work conditions and practices to department supervisor.
* Attend training courses and/or seminars as directed by company needs and become familiar with all aspects of the Company MPM;
* Any additional duties and projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Job Requirements

* Hold vaild license - AME ‘E’
* Knowledge of Avionics components and associated aircraft systems
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working on transport category aircraft
* Endorsement/experience on the CRJ 100/200 is required
* Proven ability to liaise with other Company personnel and outside agencies
* Must have a good understanding of avionics systems, components and aircraft
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Flexibility to work shift work and overtime.
