Aircraft Avionics Supervisor

MPI are looking for Aircraft Avionic Supervisors for contract based at Odiham RG29 1QT

Proposed 12 month contract subject to clearance.

Paying £23.50 Limited or £18.28 Paye
Working 37-40 hours per week, (may involve shifts which attracts a 10% uplift on hourly rate)

Applicants must have served an Aircraft Apprenticeship and have copies of their papers as well as valid Human Factors/EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety

Duties:
Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Troubleshoots pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

If successful, applicants will need to go through the Security Clearance procedure before can start on site and this can take up to approx 3 weeks.
