Job Role:
For our Hahn Airport location, we are looking to fill the following position: Aircraft Avionic Mechanic (m/f)
Your tasks
- Conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities and work orders on aircraft in the avionics area
- Independent installation of components onto assemblies according to AwD and work instructions
- Installation tasks and function tests according to regulation
- Triage of unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Replacement of line replaceable units
- Wire routing and wire repairs
- Supportive activities during the conduct of repairs in the airframe area such as cleaning of avionic components
- Correct documentation of all maintenance tasks
Your profile
- Completed apprenticeship or training as an aircraft equipment electrician or related training and experience
- Several years of experience in the maintenance of large civil aviation aircraft and in the avionics’ area
- Knowledge of aircraft systems and electric
- Skills in electronical tooling
- Skills in avionic test equipment
- Relevant knowledge in the airframe structure
- Knowledge and experience with manufacturer’s & aircraft documentation such as WDM, ESWPM, AMM and IPC
- Very good knowledge of aviation regulations (LBA, EASA, FAA) - Good EDP skills
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English for correspondence
- Class B driver‘s license
- Comply with the requirements of a background check in accordance with LuftSiG
- Manual dexterity
- Confident decision-making and communication performance
- Readiness for team-oriented collaboration
- Great ability to work under pressure, flexibility and a conscientious, proactive work approach - Readiness for travel and shift duty
