The Aircraft Appearance Planner is responsible for overseeing the ACA department as described in the A/Appearance Manual. The Aircraft Appearance Planner is responsible for the daily planning of work assignments.

Essential Functions:

* Provide leadership, coaching, training and technical support to Aircraft Appearance Agents.

* Oversite of Aircraft appearance agents on a 24/7 shift schedule. Auditing turn, RON and overnight cleans, assuring job performance is being completed to the AACM

* Evaluate daily manpower, assign work teams and ensure maximum coverage.
* Monitor employee performance and take corrective action in coordination with Supervisors as necessary.

* Assign and distribute workload to Aircraft Appearance Agents.
* Identify possibilities for operational improvements and communicate them to the A/C Appearance Manager.

* Ensure adherence to airport and aircraft security regulations and report any violations and/or potential violations to management.

Other Functions:

* Identify possibilities for operational improvements and take steps to implement them.

* Monitor employee and aircraft safety and report any hazards or incidents to management.

* Other duties as assigned by manager
* Computer and administrative functions as assigned by the Aircraft Appearance Manager

Requirements

* High school diploma or GED
* Previous customer service experience with an airline preferred
* Previous supervisory experience preferred
* Experience with Kronos computer system is essential

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Ability to delegate work and track progress
* Ability to determine necessary equipment/supplies needed for proper appearance of the plane and an FAA safety audit

* Ability to oversee work of 25-30 employees at any one time
* Must possess a valid driver’s license
* Knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
* Ability to provide excellent customer service always and apply problem-solving techniques in difficult passenger or crew situations

* Ability to lead and motivate agents in a positive and professional manner
* Excellent time management and prioritization skills
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a stressful environment
* Ability to communicate in an effective, calm, and professional manner
* Ability to work with many personality’s and needs
* Ability to work in a team environment, especially with supervisors and managers
