Advisor, Achieving Excellence System (AES) - Operations Expert – Level 4

As part of Bombardier Core Transformation team, you will be working closely with Aerospace and Transportation Business Units leaders in order to continuously challenge the status quo towards Best in Class Performance through Achieving Excellence System.

In your role, your key responsibilities will be the following:

- Perform diagnostic on processes based on performance data and propose strategic plans at the site level, including necessary change management activities;
- Drive transformational strategic projects including challenging the actual operating model against world class benchmark;
- Gather, analyze, and leverage current best practices within Business Units to generate business performance improvements by sharing & replicating across Aerospace and Transportation;
- Coach & train leaders on AES;
- Support AES related communication efforts across BA & BT, including Governance.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you:

- You have a degree in engineering, operations and production management or technical/vocational degree or any other relevant experience;
- You have a minimum of 8-15 years of experience in discrete and/or assembly line manufacturing environment and a demonstrated advanced knowledge of Lean & 6-Sigma concepts and tools and/or other continuous improvement best practices;
- Strong project management, organization, change management, communications and interpersonal skills;
- Advanced knowledge of the Lean Management System and problem solving techniques
- Comfort in developing and making/facilitating presentation in front of an audience
- You are recognized to have a high level of initiative, autonomy and innovation
- Advanced knowledge and ability in conceiving roadmaps and roll-out plans.
- Ability to gather and share best practices externally and internally
- Ability to operationalize concepts from theory to reality
