Account Manager - Ashford, Kent

Salary - £25,000

Hours of Work - 37.50 a week

The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for managing client relationships and working with internal teams to deliver a consistently high standard of service and to contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the business through proactively seeking opportunities to drive efficiency saving and client revenue.

Responsibilities:

* Be involved in client campaign planning and initiate/manager internal activities to meet these requirements.

* Receive client instructions and implement their requirements using the resources available, ensuring the correct procedures are followed and SOP’s are maintained.

* Liaise with clients on an on-going basis and manage expectations where appropriate.

* Analyse and interpret client management information, make recommendations where necessary and initiate bespoke reporting as appropriate.

* Deliver levels of service which meet the needs of clients and customers that in turn increases business opportunities.

* Regularly review and monitor client SLA’s to ensure that service levels are being met. Report findings to Department Managers.

* Arrange and manage client meetings (on and off site) to include management presentations where appropriate.

* Determine the potential of client contracts and implement the appropriate strategies to realise this potential.

* Actively explore with clients the benefits to be gained from using the other companies within the group.

The successful candidate will:

* Be an excellent communicator (both verbal and written) with the ability to adapt styles based on audience/situation

* Have experience of managing and developing relationships with customers and/or suppliers

* Have experience of working for solutions-based service provider

* Be computer literate with an aptitude for using IT to maximum benefit

* Have sound negotiating/persuasive skills

* Have a highly professional personal presentation

* Seek and respond positively to challenges

* Have a tenacious and logical approach to problem solving

* Be a conscientious ‘supplier’ to clients/customers

* Be flexible – have an ability to work in a constantly changing and challenging environment

* Have a clean driving licence
