Position Summary:
Candidate will assist with developing, planning, organizing and
conducting standard part design assignments on Textron Aviation aircraft. The
candidate will perform duties as either a standard design engineer.
Job Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to):
* Initiate designs
or incorporate design improvements utilizing CATIA V5 and V6 software
with an emphasis on modeling and drafting
* 3D model
development in support of detail, assembly and installation layouts
* Peer drawing
checking and the release of engineering documents, as well as day-to-day
collaboration to resolve design conflicts and interferences
* Support new aircraft
design, which includes communicating and coordinating with technical
disciplines, such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling, Structural
Integrity, Aerosciences and Utility Systems
* Coordinate with
Supply Chain on purchased Standard Hardware type parts supporting
production aircraft
* Create Artwork for
Placards using Adobe Illustrator
