2019 Intern Civil Air Patrol PilotMaintenance

JOB SUMMARY:

Civil Air
Patrol Cadet will rotate throughout different disciplines depending on
location. All work performed will be
conducted under Textron Aviation leadership guidance. Disciplines could include Engineering, Flight
Maintenance, Productions Flight Test, and Service Center operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Gain
knowledge in production flight test process through job shadowing Test Pilots
in all aspects of preflight and post flight activities
2. Opportunity will be provided to fly with
Test Pilots in a licensed aircraft demonstrating techniques used in the flight
test environment
3. Perform assembly tasks to complete
aircraft through build process
4. Rigging familiarization of aircraft to
meet current FAA requirements as well as inspections points in the build
process
5. Perform a variety of mechanical duties
including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement
reassembly and adjustment of various systems to complete aircraft

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

* High
school diploma or GED equivalent.
* 3.0
GPA
* Pursuing Aircraft & Powerplant education/license

EXPERIENCE:

* Wright
Brothers Award achievement
* Private
pilot license a plus
* High
level of mechanical aptitude
