We are seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management to join our Commercial Avaition Business in Annapolis, MD.

Job Summary

Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs/projects or subsystems of major programs/projects. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms and conditions of contract. Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.

Job Responsibilities

* Monitor airline performance and customer satisfaction

* Support customer as 2nd tier assistance for field problems and issues

* Customer POC for all GLOBALink and Applications

* Responsible for all GLOBALink services activations and changes for existing and new Americas customers (CSSR process)

* Liaison with GLE and PM/BMs for customer investigations, support, new services

* Technical support to Sales & PM/BM

* Technical educator for data link operation

* Develops & presents VIPs, service reviews, and GL news

* Coordinate trials and new customer / aircraft start-ups

Basic Qualifications

* Possess 8 or more years of ACARS experience

* Knowledge of ACARS and ACARS subsystem (GMP, GDS, GNMS, RGS, AMQS and ICR

* Knowledge of GLOBALink Communications media (VHF, VDLM2, HFDL, INMARSAT, & Iridium) and ACARS applications & protocols (618, 6120, …)

* Ability to describe ACARS message flow from aircraft to end-system (airlines/CAA) across ARINC Network and inter-networking with other DSP

* AQP completion, labels and routing, GL system configuration

* Assists with VAS and development (OpCenter, Weather Svs)

* Outstanding written and oral communications skills

* Possess managerial skills to manage a team of 8-10 individuals

Education:

* Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience
