What the role is:
As a data Coordinator you will be responsible for entering important data in to our in house cBase system in an accurate and timely manner ensuring that the information is compliant inline with specific airline and business requirements. This is a great opportunity for a methodical, data focused person who has keenness in working for a leading in flight catering company.
What you’ll be doing will include:
Enter accurate and timely information is added to cBase, ensuring that the correct processes are followed to suit both business requirements and those of our airline customer
Use the system to create food and packing labels for use within the operational business to include meal production and warehouse transfers
Use the system to create packing instructions and equipment packing details
Ensure that menu cycle and loading changes are implemented within the required time parameters whilst adhering to business processes
Ensure that correct structured billing information is present and correct on the system in order to assist the financial business with invoicing within accounting periods
Work with the business requirements for Heathrow and our regional sites as required to ensure data fields reflect the organisational structure
What you’ll have will include:
Experience of working within the food production industry
Ability to work with high volumes of data in a fast paced environment
Strong IT skills; experience of Microsoft Access, Excel, Office, Word
Ability to adapt to different databases including in house systems
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and written, with experience of professionally liaising with colleagues, managers and external customers on the telephone daily
High level of analytical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, must be methodical, and logical in their approach to work
Ability to work under own initiative, to plan work processes and maintain well documented auditable files
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Possess strong organisational skills, to prioritise and manage own workloads effectively
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive and persuasive
Flexibility to work over a 7 day period in order to meet business requirements
Flexibility to travel and undertake work across our London Heathrow site and if requested to do so visit our other regional sites within the UK
