Vendor Manager for busy department responsibility of maintaining relationships and monitoring performance of specified vendor base - West Sussex

Due to continued success and expansion our client who are one of the worlds leading Aviation component companies are looking for an MRO Vendor Manager to carry out vendor allocation
and vendor cost analysis in including new vendor set up and current vendor cost review

Key Responsibilities
· Maintain Relationship and monitor performance of specified vendor base
· Vendor Score cards
· Contract maintenance
· Visits and meetings, regular reviews
· Improve workshop performance
· Contract and general negotiation as required
· NCR/DPR review and administration
· Reviewing team workloads
· Ensuring team performance
Person Specifics
· Demonstrable experience in sourcing and procurement roles
· CIPS qualified preferred
· Negotiation experience
· Analytic capabilities
· Reasonable knowledge of commercial agreements
