A vacancy for an UAS Mission Chain Architect (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “Architecture & Integration”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Leads the UAS Mission Chain Architecture by:
- Coordinating the interactions with the other functional chains and UAS Segments regarding the Mission Chain design
- Is responsible for the contribution to all aircraft architects and all RPA design synthesis disciplines and for providing support to Chief Overall RPAS Architect Mission Functions.
- Coordinates Mission Chain Design activities and alignment of Mission Chain relevant design synthesis disciplines
- Coordinates Consolidation of Mission Functions allocation, Design Criteria and Overall Mission Performances
- Coordinates consolidation and administration of Mission Chain Equipment List
- Generate Overall Design Data for Mission Chain

Required skills

- Educated to a degree in avionics or similar
- Experienced in engineering
- Knowledge in leading a technical team
- Highly engaged and target oriented
- Great Team Spirit expected
- Fluent in English and German
