* Provides follow-up on items in the repairable process for current status information to expedite actions.

* Analyzes the CLS IC/MR System data for failure trends and causes; researches product improvement program recommendations/administration, and cost reduction recommendations.

* Assists in implementing the management processes which conform to FlightSafety, ISO 2008, and contract requirements.

* Assembles information and compiles data for routine reports requiring correlation of statistics from one or more sources.

* Assists in developing and preparing statistical data for projects.

* Orders and receives office supplies for the CLS as needed.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

* Uses procurement records, determines requirements for the receiving, inspecting and routing of components to maintenance department for bench check as required and/or installation.

* Provides follow-up on items in the repairable process for current status information to expedite actions.

* Assists in managing and accomplishing emergency spares support activities.

* Serves as liaison to other support functions of the CLS Site to research and identify spare/repair parts and alternate support sources.

* Supports the planning and accomplishment of ILS projects and activities.

* Assumes general responsibility for: operating office equipment, processing incoming/outgoing correspondence, transcribing/typing material in text, answering telephones, and maintaining electronic and hard copy files.

* Travels as required.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

* Ability to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to accurately perform data entry.

* Basic knowledge of inventory/maintenance recordkeeping systems and logistics processes.

* Basic knowledge of personal computers, software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and report writers.

* Ability to successfully pass a National Agency Check (NAC) by the U.S. Government.

Education and Formal Training:

A high school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree is desired. Business school is desired.

Experience:

Two years of commercial or military experience in inventory management and associated documentation and records control is required. Experience with inventory control, maintenance data collection are desired.
