Travel Specialist – Night & Weekend shifts

Provides service to all aspects of the day to day travel operations, including ticketing and booking functions, management of unused tickets, discounts, and customer information desk. Is an integral part of the delivery of the service and ensures transportation scheduling is in accordance with corporate & project policies and procedures. Administers on-line booking systems. Provides standard and ad hoc reporting to management as directed. Under general direction, reviews administrative functions for accuracy and effectiveness within a specialized function. Performs complex assignments and fulfills broad responsibilities where compulsory outcomes are defined, but methods and procedures may vary based on judgment or precedent. Assists in coordinating the work of others on assignments.

Skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or, equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

• Previous experience with a proprietary travel database is preferred.

• Prior experience facilitating travel on a LOGCAP III or IV project is preferred.

• Prior experience reconciling extensive or ongoing reports is preferred.

• Must be able work in high volume environment.

• Candidates must possess intermediate or higher skills working with Microsoft Excel and Access databases.
