About the role:

An exciting opportunity is now available to join our Group Sales department in a permanent full-time position.

Picture yourself in the role: As a Group Sales Consultant at Virgin Australia, your main role will be to manage bookings for all guests travelling as part of a group, from the point of sale through to the fulfilment of business including operational delivery and financial reconciliation.

Here’s what your day to day looks like:

* Quoting and finalising group bookings of up to 3000+ guest events

* Creating various and multiple PNRs

* Diligently managing a busy inbox – time management is key

* Liaising with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders both over the phone or email

What you’ll need:

To be successful in this role, you will have travel industry knowledge and an understanding of travel products and destinations. This, teamed with your experience using GDS systems (preferably Sabre) and other systems, will ensure you can hit the ground running.

Exceptional communication skills are vital for this opportunity, as is a positive attitude and a true desire to build strong internal and external relationships. Your phenomenal eye for attention, ability to prioritise, and incomparable problem solving skills are a must.
