The customer, a multinational air charter company with a superb reputation, excellent brand and 50+ years experience, is looking for a Travel Consultant to support the Senior Travel Consultant and Travel Manager in ensuring that a seamless service is provided to both internal and external clients.
Job Accountabilities
- Achieve targets set for each financial year
- Provide support to the Travel Division in all aspects of booking schedule service flights, hotel accommodation and car hire arrangements, from initial enquiry through to invoice requests.
- Assist in the smooth running of the department including preparation of itineraries
- Assist with the preparation of customer refunds
- Provide a first class service to clients and attain feedback
- Research existing database to create new sales leads

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience of working in a business travel sector and the changing markets within it
- IT Literate, proficient in Excel and Outlook
- GDS and airfares knowledge, Amadeus preferred
- Understanding of booking group flights, ticketing and a sound knowledge of airline fare rules is an advantage
- Presentable with the confidence to meet clients, suppliers and conduct sales
- Extremely organised, with a high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize pro-actively and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good geographical knowledge and up to date
- Highly motivated and customer focused
- Excellent team player
- Flexible approach and adaptable to change
- Numerate
