Using your strong leadership skills, you will have a high impact in creating a customer centric environment, providing strategic direction for our transport operations at Heathrow, one of London’s busiest airports. Driving efficiencies in transport operations will require you to analyse a number of KPIs and produce quality reports for the management team in striving towards operational excellence.
You will manage and oversee the planning and coordination of routes and schedules, ensuring catering uplifts and associated products reach their destinations safely, on time and in the most cost-effective way. You will be a seasoned planner of in-bound logistics from the aircraft, through equipment processing and packing ready to supply both internal departments and customer schedules.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will drive forward continuous improvement initiatives and foster an environment of change and productivity.

A degree in Logistics, supply chain management, transport management or business management along with a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is preferred but not essential.
Extensive experience in managing large transport logistics teams within a fast-paced environment; Operational Management within airport or airline environment: Demonstrable experience in leadership roles.
Skills & Knowledge:
Preferably a member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport with strong numerical and analytical skills; Mustr be PC literate and have strong oral / written communication skills.
Must have the indefinite right to work in the UK; Ability to successfully undertake a CRC (Criminal Record Check); Ability to provide 5 years of verifiable referencing history.
