Reporting to the Training Planning Manager, the Training Planning Supervisor is responsible for the day to day supervision of the Crew Training Team overseeing the production of safe, legal, fair and equitable rosters and training courses for all Jet2.com Flight Crew. This position plays a vital role in supporting our on time performance targets for the Jet2.com flying programme, through the delivery of a timely, cost efficient and robust training plan.

You will supervise a large team of Crew Training Coordinators and Controllers, overseeing the production of all Jet2.com Pilot and Cabin Crew training courses which will be developed to be fully compliant with the CAA regulatory requirements and company scheduling guidelines. You will work closely with key stakeholders across our Flight Deck and Cabin Crew community, developing commercially viable initial and recurrent training courses.

With a future focused approach you will you will assist in the introduction of new optimised training systems and will carry out regular audits to monitor and report any findings with our IT team, following up on any open reports. In addition, you will ensure the Crew Training Team are providing a professional and customer focused service when liaising with all Jet2.com colleagues.

The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of current European Training Regulations and national flight & duty time limitations. You will be able to demonstrate credible leadership and significant experience of developing others within a high volume, Training planning environment. With advanced MS Excel skills and experience of using resource planning systems, you will have a highly analytical approach with the ability to develop innovative solutions. As an engaging and confident communicator you will also need to be able to demonstrate a high degree of resilience and experience of working in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
