Training and Standards Specialist

Virgin Australia Cargo offers more than 3,400 flights per week across Virgin Australia Group’s domestic and international flight network. We provide a range of services to major cargo distributors, corporate shippers and individuals moving anything from horses to flowers and even transplant organs.

GET TO KNOW THE ROLE:

We are now searching for a Training and Standards Specialist to join our Virgin Australia Cargo team on a 12 month contract, to be based within the Brisbane Airport district.

Reporting to the Leader, Continuous Improvement and Training Standards, your day to day will include:

* Creating training courses and materials to meet the needs of our Cargo business and regulatory requirements.

* Working with key stakeholders in the design of training/educational actions, resulting from audits and investigations.

* Coordinating training schedules and delivering courses to Cargo team members and contractors through a variety of platforms.

* Supporting port induction activities inclusive of training needs analysis and delivery of requirements.

* Developing and documenting training records and system procedures/processes to satisfy regulatory and company business requirements.

LET’S GET TO KNOW YOU:

* 3+ years experience in the development and delivery of training and education packages across various platforms.

* Experience with e-learning development, curriculum design, training methodologies, and online education.

* Experience within, or strong understanding and appreciation of, the cargo/airline industries.

* Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment & Training ideal.

* Strong stakeholder management and engagement.
