Tool Coordinator daytime - Norwegian

Norwegian is expanding and we are looking for 1 dedicated Tool Coordinator for day shift 100% position in OSL/Gardermoen. You will work as close support, together with other functions within the technical department, to maintain the continuous daily operation of Norwegian fleet.

We need a colleague who has an organized and systematic mindset, with a strong commitment and the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.

Job description

• Goods receipt of aircraft parts/tools (consumables and rotatable)

• Receiving and inspection of tools

• Calibration of tools

• Storage, facilitation of tools for maintenance, and shipping of tools to all NAS stations Inventory, handling of documents

• Internal transport and labor tasks according to logistics department routines

• When needed, working at other stations domestic and international will be required

• Employee will work dayshift Monday-Friday

Qualifications

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic tool Coordinator who is organized, systematic and with a high level of commitment. You are expected to be a contributor to the work environment and need to have a broad understanding and experience of the dynamics of storekeeping. You will also have to collaborate closely with colleagues on several locations in Europe, therefor proficiency in languages and good communication skills are essential.

• Experience from store/tool handling

• Skilled in computer knowledge

• If you have expertise in welding it’s good, but not a requirement

• Fluent in Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language) and good English skills, both oral and written

• Truck driver license needed

• DGR Awareness or better is preferred

Personal qualities

The tool man must have the ability to work independently, have a good sense of order and must be capable to work structured and accurate. You must have extensive cooperation skills, be service minded, flexible and have the ability to withstand stress.

Prerequisites: Clean criminal record, residence for more than five years in an EU or EFTA state, working permit in Norway.
