Position Description:

Applicants must be capable of interpreting spatial relationships of assemblies using detailed drawings and be able to work with procedures, parts lists, schematics, diagrams written and verbal instructions.

Familiar with mechanical and/or optical measuring equipment, meters, oscilloscopes, autocollimators and/or other related test equipment.

Assemble intricate electro- and/or opto-mechanical assemblies with precision tools and fixturing.

Integrate the electro- and/or opto-mechanical components and assemblies with state of the art computers to perform the final system qualification and inspection.

Troubleshoot subassemblies, finished units, and/or production circuit boards and repair as necessary.

Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed work and safety rules.

Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Associates Degree in a related technical field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Working knowledge of the following: analog, digital electronics, electrical schematics, measuring instruments, electro- opto-mechanical troubleshooting techniques, optical systems, optical schematics, ESD and/or optical cleaning and handling techniques.
