Job description

• Develop and monitor the effectiveness of the maintenance program, present reliability data for systems and components at Reliability Meetings

• Monitor the development of EASA and UK CAA airworthiness and environmental regulations to ensure that appropriate action is taken ensure regulatory compliance

• Monitor all Airworthiness Directives information from EASA, FAA or other authorities where applicable

• Evaluate suggestions for improvements and modifications to aircraft, ensure all applicable mandatory directives issued by authorities and Type Certificate holders are incorporated in the aircraft as appropriate

• Ensure corrective action plans are made and implemented to address all non-conformities raised during internal audits or deviation reports

• Establish and maintain the Technical Department’s library, including registration, revision control, distribution and filing of technical documents and publications

• Establish and maintain quality and configuration standards for NUK aircraft, accessories and material

• Oversee preparation and issue of maintenance documentation required for modifications, and initiate procurement of material required to perform modifications

• Establish and maintain procedures and routines for Engineering & IT’s use of the computerized maintenance system

• Ensure that all engineering activities are performed according to the revenue and cost system as established in the Technical Department

• Ensure provision of qualified engineering personnel and ensure that they are given information, instructions and training to the extent required to achieve satisfactory work performance

• Develop and approve competency assessments for all positions and job roles requiring authorization of the Engineering Part M organisation

• Establish and maintain contact with applicable manufacturers of aircraft, engines, accessories and materials of interest to the company

• Conduct a Yearly Review of the effectiveness of the maintenance programs

Qualifications

• Relevant Engineering Degree or Aircraft Engineer to B1/B2 standard

• Flexible attitude, team spirit, able to manage different levels of workload

• Strong analytical capability with excellent MS office suite skills & MRO systems experience

• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with supplier’s and co-workers at all functional levels

• Proven ability to achieve goals while working under tight time constraints while maintaining technical standards and integrity

• Be acceptable to the UK CAA for an EASA Form 4 Post Holder position
