Job description

• Control and oversight of subcontracted continuing airworthiness activities performed by approved EASA Part M & Part 145 organisations, in accordance with EASA Part M Subpart G

• Liaising with OEM’s to increase reliability of their products and reduce removal rate/deferred defect rate

• Liaise with Regulatory Authorities and relevant legal counsel for the registration process of newly delivered aircraft and for the movement/transfer of aircraft between AOC’s

• Monitor the effectiveness of the Maintenance Program

• Monitor the development of EASA and UK CAA regulations with reference to airworthiness and environmental matters and ensure that appropriate action is taken in order to fully comply with these matters

• Monitor all Airworthiness Directives information from EASA, FAA, or other authorities where applicable

• Evaluate suggestions for improvements and modifications to aircraft, and make sure that all applicable mandatory directives issued by authorities and Type Certificate holders are incorporated in the aircraft, as appropriate

• Maintain the Technical Department’s library, including registration, revision control, distribution and filing of technical documents and publications

• Maintain quality and configuration standards for NUK aircraft, accessories and material

• Establish and maintain contact with applicable manufacturers of aircraft, engines, accessories and materials of interest for NUK

• Additional duties as assigned by the company

Qualifications

• Relevant Engineering Degree or Aircraft Engineer to B1/B2 standard

• Flexible attitude, team spirit, able to manage different levels of workload

• Strong analytical capability with excellent MS office suite skills & MRO systems

• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with supplier’s and co-workers at all functional levels

• Proven ability to achieve goals while working under tight time constraints while maintaining technical standards and integrity
