Job Role:
Morson International are currently recruiting for Technical Planners to work for our prestigious client at Manchester Airport, too start as soon as possible, working 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Job Purpose: To assist the control of the Short Term Planning function within TCUK Maintrol on a 24 / 7 basis. Ensures all Work Packs are prepared correctly following a review of the AMOS Forecast and delivered to the Line stations. Maintains compliance and assists in resolving ETL based issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the Maintenance Forecast and plan work packs accordingly
- Supports the Tech Planner with Planning Maintenance Slots (downtime)
- Update AMOS on fleet status
- Liaise with Tech Planners and Line stations to ensure resource matches plan
- Liaise with Development Engineering, Power plant, Projects and Operations on short term planning issues.
- Assist the Tech Planner with planning work packs for line maintenance.
- Report back work packages and action audit checks within the ETL.
Key Performance Indicators
- Assistant to the Tech Planner for creating and loading work packs onto AMOS
- Control / Review Maintenance Forecast so no work orders are overdue
- Maintaining compliance.
Essential:
- Experience of AMOS
- Experience of using a flight planning system such as Netline
- Knowledge and/or experience of Line and hangar maintenance.
- Experience of using the ETL
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent planning and organising skills.
Desirable:
- Enthusiastic approach to their work
- Dynamic and effective individual.
Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships or Accreditations
- Previous Engineering/Planning experience
- Mechanic or Cat A licensed engineer (desirable).
