Facilities Manager/Site Manager

The Facilities Manager is responsible for upholding the maintenance of the buildings, their facilities infrastructure and services for the headquarters of a growing, vibrant aerospace organisation in Germany.

This role consist of directly managing and coordinating of maintenance service providers and performing technical testing and inspection of the buildings infrastructure and carry out any small works and repairs on the building.

Experience within a Facilities Management position with a professional qualification as an electrician or mechatronic technician is essential, knowledge of occupational health and safety, and security with experience in an environment where an ISO 9001 management system is in use would be desirable. Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English are essential.

Main responsibilities of a Facilities Manager:
° Perform regular technical inspections of the building, record any irregularities to then follow-up.
° Manage and coordinate all technical service providers for maintenance and installation services.
° Perform regular checks such as monthly sprinkler, health and safety tests etc.
° Perform small works and repairs, and follow-up any larger problems with technical contractors via the service desk.
° Participate in the Facility Management stand-by and call out team.
° Prepare small procurements
