Reporting to the
Systems Technical Services Manager, the
Systems Technical Services Engineer is responsible for ensuring the Continued Airworthiness of the
Jet2.com fleet.
You will monitor operational data to provide systems and Interiors technical expertise, manage repetitive defects, deferred defects and EASA Part 21 modifications / repairs, whilst enhancing reliability and maintaining on time performance. You will also define, implement and manage fleet maintenance and modification policies and procedures through the assessment and evaluation of all technical documentation and airworthiness data. You will also manage safety / reliability investigations and entry into service / end of lease aircraft to meet systems and Interiors requirements to schedule, whilst liaising with all
Engineering Teams and acting as a focal point between
Jet2.com, manufacturers, vendors and regulatory bodies. After a period of training it is expected that you will work a
4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern.
Working a regular shift pattern, the successful candidate will hold an
EASA Part 66 B1 Licence with type approval(s). You will ideally have experience of
EASA Part M and
Jet2.com aircraft types and be able to communicate clearly and work methodically to deliver to tight timescales.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work co-operatively and flexibly, whilst maintaining strong working relationships at all business levels is vital to the success of this role.
