Job Role:

Work as part of a team responsible to support all IT operations. Provide computer hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and support to all contract and customer employees. The System Support Operator is under the general supervision of the Network Administrator.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following duties:

• Work as part of a team responsible for the IT operations.

• Analysis, troubleshooting, installation, modification, enhancement, and maintenance of Windows 2012 Servers and Windows 7 & 10 Operating Systems.

• Maintain, trouble shoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of IT hardware and peripheral equipment including servers, computers, printers and scanners.

• Active Directory Maintenance

• Maintain all network related equipment by way of configuration and image backups, software updates and replacing older equipment as needed.

• Maintain all software media and insure proper licensing prior to implementation.

• Interface with software/hardware vendor support personnel.

• Assist with system configuration and network security compliance as requested by Information Security Officer.

• Group Policy, DNS, File Services and Patch management

• McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator management

• WDS image deployment and maintenance

• SAN and NAS management

• Hyper-V virtualized infrastructure

• In charge of sever backups and offsite datacenter

• Able to work any assigned shift or schedule outside normal duty hours and travel as required to support IT operations.

• US Citizenship Required.

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years’ experience supporting and maintaining workstations and server hardware. Must have in depth knowledge of the Windows 2012 Servers and Windows 7 operating systems OR Associate’s Degree plus 6 years’ experience supporting and maintaining workstations and server hardware. Must have in depth knowledge of the Windows 2012 Servers and Windows 7 operating systems OR High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 10 years’ experience supporting and maintaining workstations and server hardware. Must have in depth knowledge of the Windows 2012 Servers and Windows 7 operating systems.

•Experience administering Active Directory.

•Thorough knowledge of laptop, PC, server interface and other peripheral equipment.

•Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Server roles IIS, DFS, WSUS, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services, AD, Hyper-V.

•Thorough knowledge of PowerShell.

•Microsoft Clustering

•Experience with system auditing and compliance (STIG and Nessus) (Beneficial)

•Sharepoint 2013 and Exchange 2010 (Beneficial)

•Microsoft Certified Solution Associate or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Preferred).

•Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.

•Obtain and maintain a Government DOJ Security clearance.
