Description:This position will involve testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and installation / removal of major shipboard system / equipment.
Position will mostly work out of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dam Neck Activity located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Some travel will be required for system support and sustainment. Travel will be to Pearl Harbor, Groton, San Diego, Kings Bay, FT. Meade, and potentially OCONUS. Duration of travel will typically be from a couple of days to 3 weeks about 4-5 times per year.
Basic Qualifications:
Significant maintenance and network/systems administration experience with Linux and MS based equipment/systems.

Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II requiring a current Security+CE certification and Operating System/Computing Environment (OS/CE) training.

Position requires TS/SCI. A Final Top Secret clearance is required to be considered.
Desired Skills:
Although not required, experience with installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and / or testing of Classic Troll, SANDDAB, Cluster Snoop, or Ruthless Raven would make and applicant more desirable.
