Job Description
Supervisor oversees and efficiently directs line maintenance activity related to cabin interiors, In Flight Entertainment (IFE) and connectivity.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews and monitors the scheduling of the Line Maintenance and Vendor workload as it applies to cabin interiors, In Flight Entertainment (IFE) and connectivity
- Manages and coordinates all priority one requirements
- Participates in daily maintenance and customer experience team briefings
- Identifies planned workload and communicates this to Line Maintenance Stations
- Coordinates routing changes and interdepartmental activity as required
- Reviews and monitors the tracking and scheduling of deferrals, scheduled media loads and cabin focus program
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned in order to achieve department and company goals
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 3 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning environment
- Understanding of maintenance processes including scheduling and deferral process
- Experience with maintenance of large commercial aircraft
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels of the organization as well as with external contacts
- Must have demonstrated the ability to work as a team player and the ability to deliver results
- Must be willing to work weekends in order to support operation
Preferred Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in an Aircraft Operational environment
- Understanding of maintenance structure, maintenance station capabilities and processes
- Working knowledge of Maintenance Planning Systems (LAMPS, Sceptre, DECS)
