Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, the Stores Shift Team Leader is responsible for the direction of a team of Storekeepers, ensuring that work is carried out to a high standard at all times and all parts are stored, packed, handled and located correctly. The Stores Shift Team Leader is responsible for managing the dispatch of urgent requirements to minimise disruption and unnecessary costs.

You will maintain records of all transactions and parts inventories, control stock levels and carry out stock checks regularly, as well as taking responsibility for the health and safety of the Team. In addition, you will mentor new starters and oversee their training.

The successful candidate will ideally have supervisory experience or have held a similar position or level of responsibility. You will have experience managing a team in a busy and demanding environment and have excellent organisation skills. The Stores Shift Team Leader will also have an in depth knowledge of Storekeeping and published Engineering Procedures and regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to dangerous goods.
