Overview
* To follow the correct procedures to ensure the efficient inspection of aircraft parts
* Ensure that all orders are correct and meet the customer’s requirements
* Ensure workplace health and safety are met
* To complete all tasks in a timely manner
* Ensure DG Awareness is followed at all times
* Comply fully with Security Awareness and ESD training
* To help with the day to day activities of the department
Responsibilities
*
To inspect incoming and outgoing aircraft parts to the required standard
*
To ensure all paperwork is correct and meets the requirements of the order
*
To prioritise and prepare aircraft parts as directed
*
To ensure all trace requirements are met
*
To complete AOG requirement as directed
*
To action serviceable core returns
*
To transfer parts to the Warehouse
*
To ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy in accordance with health and safety standards
*
To assist on other benches when needed or directed
*
To be fully able to navigate operating systems as required by the role (Amos & Quantum)
*
To be flexible to work on Rotable, Consumable and Customer stock return processes as required
*
To carry out any miscellaneous jobs or related duties as deemed necessary by the management team and Operations Director
Person Specification
* 6 months minimum experience in aircraft parts inspection
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Organised and methodical
* Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise
* Demonstrates initiative
* Self-motivated
* Customer focused
* Team player with the ability to work independently
* Flexible in moving between tasks
* Focused on organisational priorities
* Good IT skills (Excel, Outlook, Quantum & Amos)
* Previous Warehouse experience essential
* Counter Balance or Reach Truck Forklift Licence desirable
