Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record for customer service and safety compliance.
Manage a staff of training instructors/coordinators. Administrative duties may include daily/weekly/monthly reports. Schedule and facilitate training events for all station personnel including gate, ramp, operations/tower, club, and vendors. Coordinate on-the-job training. Assist new employees with developing safe work habits and customer service skills. Monitor and assess employee behavior and compliance with policies and procedures. Ensure employees comply with mandatory training assignments and follow up as necessary. Maintain station training records.

Managers must keep both the company goals and customer expectations in mind when overseeing daily operations. Responsible to meet or exceed all performance goals. Coach and provide career development to the staff. Correct non-compliant behavior and impose disciplinary action as required. Understand the corporate culture, policies and goals, and take measures to implement these into daily work routines. Maximize operational performance for the station by adjusting to changes in operational conditions and pro-actively solving problems. Provide support when employee absence affects the operation. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years of airline management experience and working knowledge of AOA environment
• Excellent leadership abilities including effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• In depth knowledge of station procedures to include ticket counter, gate, ramp, cargo, security and station administration.
• Ability to mentor and develop employees effectively, diffuse conflicts, and interact with all levels of personnel and management.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Winter Operations and De-Icing Guidelines
• 1 year supervisory experience in all functions (gate, ticketing, ramp, operations, etc.)
• Previous teaching or training experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Aviation Management, Business Management

Work Environment:
• Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
• Work weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts

Physical Requirements:
Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 70 pounds; provide assistance to customers with disabilities.
