Role Purpose

Assist senior executive to monitor station accounting activities, effectively communicate with on-site personal to ensure timely delivery of the accounting deliverables for the respective and undertake GL reconciliation and VAT/ GST HQ /stations reconciliation and reporting.

Key Accountability

Assist in performing GL transactional activities

Performance of GL and reconciliation of station accounts post-insourcing

Performance of GST/VAT reconciliation and report required by station sent timely and recovery is made.

To assist with the liaison with internal and external auditors on audited areas and closing gaps on audit findings during specified time frame, if any.

Ensure timely reporting of foreign currency bank accounts inflows/outflows to Bank Negara of Malaysia

Ensure the timely reporting of bank accounts inflows and outflows to Treasury Cash Management

Ensure compliance to Service standards / SLAs to ensure appropriate service levels are maintained

Ensure compliance to accounting standards and internal controls

Act as a pro-active team member to ensure cordial work environment

Undertake additional responsibilities to support / replace other team member roles if required

Qualification

Degree- Degree in Accounting/ Finance and/ or professional qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA, etc.)

Working Experience

3 - 0 – 3 years working experience in Accounting and/ or Finance or in the related field

Skill & Knowledge

Managerial: Proactive with good interpersonal skills

Technical: Possess in-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices

Verse with ERP and other business / accounting tools

Posses good knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools (Word / Excel / Power point)

Industry Knowledge: Need Industry knowledge of aviation industry or knowledge of the job role
