Description:Are you a highly skilled embedded software engineer?

Are you interested in addressing problems critically important to our national security?

Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control’s Advanced Programs/Special Programs is seeking a creative problem solver with a strong background in low level languages such as Assembly and C to join their Special Analysis program in Dallas, TX.

The Special Analysis program is one of the longest running programs at Missiles and Fire Control. It has provided over 50 years of dedicated analysis support to government customers, informing key decision makers on issues of critical importance to our national security.

The program is currently seeking to grow its analytical capabilities with the addition of a software analysis team.

The team will work in conjunction with hardware analysis teams to assess software capabilities and vulnerabilities of a wide range of missile systems.

The program is seeking candidates who can help shape the development of this new team and grow the team to compliment the programs existing analytical talents.

Candidates with a current Top Secret clearance will be given priority. At minimum, you must have an active final Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience developing software for an embedded target

-Experience with C and Assembly programming languages

- At minimum, the candidate must have active final Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance for this role

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- A Bachelors degree from an accredited college (or equivalent experience) in a related discipline, combined with 9 years of professional experience

-The successful candidate must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as good written and verbal communication skills.

-Willingness to work in a highly classified environment a must.
Desired Skills:
- Experience as a technical lead is desired

-Familiarity with disassemblers and other software exploitation tools and techniques preferred.

-It is desired the candidate be experienced in software planning activities.

-It is desired the candidate has a current Top Secret clearance.
