Job Role:
* Works directly with leadership and project owners to prioritize, plan, and report on a portfolio of projects that are typically highly complex and/or cross-functional in nature
* Leads the planning, business case development, milestone setting, and dependency management of projects to ensure successful delivery
* Develops strategies and approaches for multiple, large, complex programs using Sun Country’s project management framework and other industry standard resources
* Develops communication strategies to ensure stakeholders have up-to-date and actionable information including, but not limited to: project health, cost tracking, risk management, and resource allocations
* Monitors the delivery of business objectives, client experience, and effectiveness of project management disciplines
* Seeks innovative solutions to solve problems and realize goals
* Drives decision making and consensus, manages scope change
Required
8+ years project management experience
* Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects consisting of multiple work streams and cross-enterprise functionality
* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to manage and delegate work as part of a team in a matrixed environment
* Proficiency with MS Visio, MS Project, MS Office, MS SharePoint
* Airline industry experience
Preferred
* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Professional Project Manager (CPPM)
* Experience with Agile project management in a high technology or Internet-based software development environments
* Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in infrastructure, integration, software development and web technologies
