Job Summary

Product Support Specialist/Managers are the primary points of contact within the Company for all customer issues involving performance of fielded systems/products. They ensure any customer problems with the reliability of maintainability of these products are addressed and resolved aligned with the customer’s sense of urgency. They draw upon the collective resources of the Company to drive and implement resolution of customer problems. Product Support Managers develop and coordinate implementation of Product Support Plans and Mod Programs to ensure timely and uninterrupted support and maintenance of assigned fielded products. This is an individual contributor role.

Job Responsibilities

* Plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.

* Possess a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards.

* Develops solutions to a variety of problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

* Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would have a serious impact upon the administration of the organization.

* Implement STARS Escalation Process to resolve customer issues.

* Provide effective and timely problem solving support for assigned systems/products to assure highest ratings in customer satisfaction and reliability.

* Ensure timely resolution of customer AOG’s (aircraft on ground) support requests.

* Lead support effort for mod plans to ensure implementation of support deliverables to meet customer/Program schedule.

* Drive assigned product issue resolutions and enhancements that improve customer satisfaction and reduce cost.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience; identified skills and experience

* Experience in the aerospace industry

* Experience with Data analysis

* Willing travel 10% of the time
