Job Description
American Airlines, Inc. has multiple openings for a Sr. Financial Analyst, Financial Analysis to perform the following duties: Perform analytics and financial benchmarking to support commercial and finance groups. Evaluate strategic investments and business opportunities, performing due diligence and financial modeling. Identify and evaluate opportunities for financial and operational improvement. Maintain and enhance financial models and prepare reporting on industry trends. Support competitive benchmarking projects, including strategic reviews of American’s revenue and cost performance.
Job Qualifications
Master’s degree in business administration, operations research or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in corporate finance, strategic analysis, or network planning in the airline industry, plus demonstrated experience in: managerial accounting; financial modeling and analysis of large amounts of data; corporate database systems including: MIRS, MIDT, ARC-DDS, SPARS/APAS, RevABK, Diio, Cognos; and Using MS Excel and PowerPoint with large datasets.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week/8 a.m.-5 p.m./M-F.
