The two key functions of this role are to drive spend per passenger of ancillary revenue products (including seats, bags, flexi-products, inflight, upgrades, lounges) and continuously improve Jetstar frontline (and management) engagement, motivation and sales skills. The role works closely with Jetstar airline’s training, cabin services and ground handling departments to develop industry leading sales and product training, incentive programmes and 360 continuous improvement programmes including product, systems and technology.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager - Flight Product, your main accountabilities will include:

• Delivering sales training content to crew trainers
• Coaching of trainers to deliver sales training
• Ongoing review and development of sales training
• Conducting market research into best in class training programmes to deliver insights to improve sales training
• Working closely with other departments to optimise product launches (and improve product knowledge of current product)
• Reviewing existing commission schemes for frontline staff and introducing new schemes where appropriate
• Rolling out fair, transparent and motivating Incentive programmes to frontline staff
• Ensure crew feedback is fed back to senior leadership and appropriate action is taken.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:

• 2-3 years’ experience in direct B2C selling
• Experience in developing and delivering sales training programs
• Experience in developing and managing engagement and incentive programmes
• Strong relationship, stakeholder management and influencing skills (at all levels of the organisation)
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
• Strong listening skills
• Strong analytical and data insight skills
• Ability to develop and present strategies and plans
• Sound understanding of project management methods
• Ability to develop and deliver programs through to completion with a strong commitment to meeting budget, timeframe, quality requirements.
