Software Web Developer Immediate Opening

National security is vital to our nation. ZENETEX provides expert, in-depth support services for the Intelligence Community across the full tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TCPED) process with specialized skills and expertise. We have a fully-funded and immediate opportunity for a Software/Web Developer to support a major government program in Suitland, MD. In this position, you will join a multi-disciplinary team of government and contractor personnel working on a high-priority, very sensitive program in support U.S. Naval Intelligence priorities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As the sole Software/Web Developer on the team, you will be responsible for devising new applications and tailoring software/web search techniques to better access and collect open source information in targeted searches against designated subject areas. You will partner with analysts and linguists in addressing new ways of doing business and gathering new information sources to support Government priorities. This position requires a Top Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI), as open source data will be collated with classified intelligence data in the course of your work. Work will be conducted in a secure facility.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required Experience:

* A minimum of 4 years-experience as a Software or Web Developer OR a BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
* Demonstrated experience in programming languages to include XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web 2.0 development, VB script or other Object Oriented Scripting
* In-depth experience with a variety of internet technologies, techniques, and tools, and object-oriented languages (e.g. JAVA CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create software and web application elements such as user interface features
* Proficient experience in using APIs in software and from a browser address bar and has experience providing web-based solutions for complex problems that may run as a web browser add-on optimized for Firefox

Desired Experience:

* A minimum of 6 years-experience as a Software or Web Developer, OR a master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering AND 4 years of additional software/web development experience
* Experience developing mobile applications in an Android operating environment. Familiar with using Android SDK and programming JAVA and CORONA for an Android OS
*
Experience with current data mining technologies focused on social media and publicly available information source

Experience in the use of a managed attribution system

Security Clearance

* This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance.
