Job Summary

Collins Aerospace Avionics Concepts, Practices, and Tools (CPT) organization is seeking a Software Developer, that has a hardware background, with a passion for problem solving and satisfying customers through the delivery of improvements to the global engineering ecosystem that provide compelling gains to the consistency, efficiency, and productivity of product development efforts across the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have many of the following skills/experience:

Solid knowledge of the hardware space

*

ECAD and/or MCAD exposure

*

Software development/programming

*

Enjoy problem solving and committed to delivering high-quality solutions

*

Critical thinking and the execution of good judgement

*

Positive attitude and eager to learn and improve

*

Works well with others

*

Good organizational skills

*

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and support activities, while balancing priorities and schedules

Responsibilities include:

*

Support tools utilized by Hardware Engineering (Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering)

*

Support and develop solutions that improve productivity and effectivity of Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineers

Basic Qualifications

*

Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline or six years of related experience

*

Hardware knowledge (Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering)

*

Software development experience

*

US Citizen/Permanent Resident
