Job Description

The Senior Specialist, Engineering Process will serve as a liaison between the Technology Delivery team and Training, Engineering and Quality verticals. The Senior Specialist, Engineering Processes will be responsible for technical leadership for and other workflow applications throughout TEQ.

 

Responsibilities

  • Solution Architect/Technical team lead for K2 development
  • Works at the direction of the K2 Product Owner to develop forms, workflow and integration elements of the K2 solution
  • Reviews requirements specifications and technical design documents 
  • Ability to create/leverage K2 APIs and Services to permit external integration into K2
  • Designs, develops and execute automation scripts
  • Creates mockups of system design work
  • Conducts design reviews of development work
  • Creates detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Establishes process for bug tracking
  • Performs regression testing to ensure bugs/defects are resolved
  • Interfaces with project stakeholders on general and specific issues
  • Produces detailed progress reports to management

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 year degree) or equivalent experience/training
  • Proven experience in leading large technical efforts
  • Solid Microsoft .NET software development skills including working experience in a number of (but not necessarily all of): WCF, WPF, WF, ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, LINQ
  • Skills in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and SharePoint 2013
  • Solid Microsoft SQL server programming skills
  • Experienced with the following:
    • Solution development with a Microsoft focus
    • XML and other open standards
    • System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge
    • Deployment/build discipline
    • Component architecture
    • Critical creative thinking & creative problem solving
    • Team Management
  • Leadership experience
  • Self-managing
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Travel required
  • Aviation maintenance experience/knowledge desired
