Role Overview
Senior Software Engineer responsible for the development of display software for commercial and business aircraft.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Tasks include software requirements development, architecture development, software design and implementation, functional & integration testing and software delivery support.
* Responsibilities will also include coordination with internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

* Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree (STEM degree is highly preferred) and five years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and three years of prior relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
* Experience with aircraft systems, display software (EFIS, Primary Flight Display, Navigation Display, Window Manager (RWM)) and experience with DO-178 development processes are required.
* Applicant should have multiple years of demonstrated experience in software verification and structural coverage analysis, as well as hands on development with ARINC 661 and 429 communication standards.
* This position also requires experience in developing software for real-time embedded systems using C, C++ and Matlab (Simulink) modeling languages.
* Good written and oral communication skills as well as good team building and analytical skills are all requiredas well.
