About Your Job

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Executive based in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of multi-channel marketing strategies that will drive customer acquisition, retention, create brand awareness and support the achievement of commercial objectives.  You will plan, develop, and execute all the online,  above the line and below the line  marketing activities in line with the defined strategy, so as to drive revenue and grow loyalty of Qatar Airways products among the target market segments and in accordance with agreed business plans. 

Specific accountabilities include:

• Formulating the annual marketing plan for station within the assigned budget and incorporating promotional strategies that enhance the product position and meet revenue objectives
• Assisting in the development and implementation of planned and unplanned marketing campaigns to optimise QR revenue and presence in the area of responsibility
• Formulating plan to achieve the target and initiating necessary e-commerce strategies to achieve station targets
• Identifying PR opportunities and building effective relations with local journalists in close coordination with regional office and head office
• Maintaining relevant levels of contact with clients and at all times demonstrating a high standard of conduct and service to ensure client satisfaction

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant Bachelors degree with a minimum of five years marketing experience. 

You will have a good understanding of the principles of below The line & above the line marketing and Return on Investment metrics.  You will need a track record of implementing change and of revenue delivery.  Experience within the airline or travel industry would be advantageous.  Fluency (written and spoken) in English is essential to be considered for this position.  Fluency in French and/or German language skills is highly desirable.
