About Your Job

The Senior Market Developer is responsible for generating revenue through finding innovative opportunities in the market and for closing the deficit gap of the regions. Is also responsible for enhancing the current structure/process to ensure smooth running of the business and to generate the revenue required.

In this role you will lead new innovative ideas and revenue generating ancillaries with commercial organization stake holders.

About You

You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferably in Commerce or Economics with a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience: you must have minimum 2 years of experience in revenue management and minimum 2 years of experience related to sales activities, initiatives. You also have experience in dealing across numerous sales markets while developing an understanding of market requirements and how to influence their sales behavior, you have proven understanding of travel industry, of airline systems and interpretation of available data. It is also required Commercial Airline experience with a good knowledge of Distribution Channels.

You have the ability to spot and interpret market trends, excellent relationship building and communication skills; strong influencing and negotiation skills.
It is also required proven experience of demonstrating accountability in managing effective working relationships and good budgetary control skills. You are analytical, self-motivated and proactive, with excellent planning and time management skills.
