Get onboard the UTC Aerospace Operations and Supply Chain team and play a part in managing our innovative products from inception to delivery. Operations and Supply Chain employees have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality, and efficiency of our operations worldwide.

As the Supplier Performance Sr. Manager for the East Region located in Windsor Locks, CT you will have the responsibility to
1) lead a team of Supplier Development Engineers to drive supplier improvement in the East region to achieve 100 percent OTD, Zero Defects, and sustained performance,
2) Manage up to Dollar 500M in supplier spend
3) Set strategy for and manage up to 50 Critical suppliers and be the point of contact for more than 100 noncritical suppliers.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Drive delivery and quality performance for up to 50 critical suppliers, and be the point of contact for more than 100 non-critical suppliers
* Create and execute 12-24 months strategic plan for the SE team
* Provide leadership to drive supplier Gold across the East Region
* Lead execution of Supplier Development Playbook, and take actions to address critical near term as well as
* long-term, sustained improvement gaps
* Mentor members of the South East team and ensure each individual has an Individual Development Plan that will address skills needed for their role as well as long-term career ambitions
* Communicate team strategic plans and actions to address missed targets to Regional Leader, and the Supplier Performance Senior Director as needed
* Drive cross-functional, and BU engagement to remove roadblocks necessary to improve Supplier performance
* Eliminate any risks that will prevent suppliers from meeting performance targets, and escalate as needed
* Schedule and lead critical supplier reviews with SBU leadership and operations

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum 7 years of experience in Engineering/Supply Chain/Manufacturing or related area with a continued proven track record of performance achievement and growth, and increased level of responsibility. Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in working with suppliers
* Experience developing suppliers and supplier relationships
* Knowledge of supply chain management in the Aerospace organization
* Project/Program Management
* Supervisory/leadership experience
* Ability to lead in a collaborative team environment

Education: Bachelors degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other Business related field. Masters degree in a related field preferred.
