Senior Manager Network Planning Qatar Airways Doha
About the Job:
We are looking for a Senior Manager Network Planning to join our team at Qatar Airways. In this role you will lead a team of Network Planning Managers, Analysts and Schedulers. Your main objectives will include but not be limited to profitably allocating aircraft resources of Qatar Airways, maximising usage of priority bi-lateral rights, taking ownership of network planning business cases, working with our leaders on the network strategy over short and long term periods.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Planning new destinations for and increasing frequencies within our network
- Allocate optimal equipment type per flight
- Maintain quality control over all network planning business cases.
- Lead calls and meetings with other Commercial departments (i.e. monthly regional Sales meetings)
- Network with other departments to maintain transparent and open communications.
- Negotiate and monitor airport cost and revenue incentives
You will have vast amounts of experience working within the corporate planning function of a major airline as well as having proven leadership skills. You should be a flexible leader with the ability to adapt to situations as and when they are presented.
You will be degree qualified and ideally possess an MBA or similar qualification. You will be accustomed to presenting to and interacting with board level management.
