Senior Logistics Specialist

ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for a Senior Logistics Specialist to support the PMA-261 CH-53K Logistics team at PMA-261. The CH-53K heavy lift helicopter is an ACAT-1D program that has just entered the production phase of its life cycle. This position can be based in Patuxent River, MD (NAS Patuxent River) or in Philadelphia, PA (NAVSUP). The opportunity for remote work may be possible. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Senior Logistics SME (Supply) responsible to APMLs, Deputy APMLs, PSMs and LEMs of the H-53 program office. Support the PMA-261 CH-53K Program by performing various tasks related to the development, provisioning, site outfittings, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems. * Applies APN-6 Baseline Assessment Memorandum processes as aligned with the Common Spend Plan Tool. * Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Product Support (IPS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test & evaluation planning and execution; and ILS/R&M program management analysis. * Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. * Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems. Education and Experience Requirements Required Qualifications * BS or BA degree * Allowable substitutions: * Designation as a Certified Professional Logistician from the International Society of Logistics (SOLE) or APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional, plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Acquisition Logistics can be substituted for four (4) years’ experience in operational logistics support and maintenance engineering. * At least six (6) years in Acquisition Logistics Support and Maintenance Engineering. At least four (4) years’ experience in operational logistics support and maintenance engineering. Desired Qualifications * Naval Supply (NAVSUP) experience and support for a NAVAIR ACAT- I program office together with fleet Marine Corps or Navy operational unit.
